DALI Dimmable LED Drivers

Dali dimming, also known as Digital Addressable Lighting Interface dimming, is a lighting control protocol that allows individual control of lighting fixtures in a space. It uses a digital signal to communicate between the control system and the lighting fixtures, enabling the control of the brightness of each fixture individually or in groups.

Dali dimming operates on a loop topology, meaning that all the lighting fixtures in a space are connected in a loop, and each fixture has a unique address. The control system sends commands to the fixtures by addressing them individually or by addressing groups of fixtures. The fixtures then respond by adjusting their brightness according to the command they received.

Dali dimming provides precise control of the brightness of each fixture, making it ideal for spaces where different lighting scenes are required, such as offices, retail stores, and museums. It also enables energy savings, as fixtures can be dimmed when they are not required at full brightness.
